Honda chord does not turn on until after a while

I have a 1990 Honda Accord. My problem is that when I start it for the first time, everything is fine. The problem is that when I've been driving it for a while and I stop, say at a store, while I'm going in and out, when I get back in the car and try to start it, it won't start. I have to wait a minute or less for it to start again. Another problem is when I get to the gas station and turn off the engine while they finish filling it with gas, and then when I try to start it again, it won't start. I have to wait a minute, sometimes less, and then it starts again.

I need more information. After you stop it and try to restart it, "the motor turns, it doesn't do anything, it turns harder." If you tell me a little more, maybe I can help you.

Hi, your problem might be with the RPM sensor (also called the top dead center sensor). There might be a minor issue with its winding. Alternatively, try removing it and cleaning it; dirt can accumulate there. Let me know how it goes.
