braking engine

Good evening, I have a Chevrolet Cruze with the engine seized. What could be the possible causes? The oil level was checked and found to be fine; the oil was not found to be contaminated. The coolant level was also fine, and there was no evidence of water entering the engine. The air filter is in perfect condition, and the spark plugs were found to be firing properly.
