The rods are fine and has no central lock. Do you think I should remove the hinges?

Before removing the hinges, the rest of the components would disarmed. And I think a WD40 would officially or better graphite. The problem is that the doors are designed to be unarmed open. Remiving hinges is very risky, nothing guarantees you that you can take the door that way, and replace it well squad it can be more difficult. If you do not find any lubricant pass it gas that loosen all graza.
