Well, companions, this device is located in the courtesy light ceiling in the Peugeot 406 Phase II, also when trying it according to polarity, it has a fan that rotates to the left or right, what is its function?:

It is a fan that serves to force air to a cabin temperature sensor ... If you start making a slight noise as buzz it is convenient to clean it with spray dielectric this will help eliminate or minimize noise.
