Error with CBR 1000 RR 2007 Published by manual-mecanica
Good afternoon friends,

I have a problem with a CBR 1000 RR. The display shows F1 and a flashing red light. I don't understand how to interpret the flashing because the manual is in English.
Also, when I run the diagnostic test, it shows HESD.
Can anyone help me? Thank you.

If HESD stands for Honda Exhaust System "something," it might be similar to Suzuki's SET, which is for the exhaust valve.

If so, you'd have to disable it, both mechanically and electronically.

I imagine there are Honda forums in Spain where they'll explain it in detail.

For Suzuki, there's the mechanics forum at www.gsxr.es.

Best of luck, and I hope it's nothing serious (since on GSXRs this F1-type fault can also be FI, which isn't the same thing).

Thanks, I understand HESD stands for Honda Electronic Steering Damper.
And you're right, what it says is FI.
Now I need to know how to interpret the flashing red light.
