Manual-Mechanics' response on the topic Re: Engine shakes too much
I think the gaskets are blown too because every time I start it, it emits water vapor, blue smoke when it heats up, and a lot of oil leaks from the front of the intake manifold. But I haven't checked the compression. Could it be a valve?

Besides, the first few times I started driving it, it reached 180 km/h, and now it doesn't go over 140 km/h. Also, when it reaches 100 km/h, the body starts to vibrate too much

If it's a regular Mustang, you should check the timing, as well as the distributor. Backfiring through the exhaust is due to poor timing. You can measure the compression, but it's unlikely to be the valve. Measure it hot and cold in case there's expansion and improper valve seating, which happened to me once.
