Starting problem in a 1996 Nissan V16. Posted by manual-mecanica
The problem is that when giving contact, it sounds like a stuck or something like that and the start is as if it is stuck. This sometimes prowns it.

Your problem must be related to the electrical system; try checking the ground wires, as one of them might not be making good contact

Perform a simple test: connect a wire from the battery's negative terminal to any part of the engine to create a ground connection and try to start the engine. If it starts fine, it's a grounding issue. If the problem persists, check the relays. If that doesn't solve the problem, remove the starter and test it separately

Check the connections to the starting and battery engine, which are not loose or sulfated, if everything is fine then you are likely to have problems with the starter of the starter engine
