Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: blue smoke
I had the injector tips checked, changed the diesel filters to the original ones for the vehicle, checked for air leaks in the system, the dark blue smoke is from the piston rings, that's what's happening, too much oil is getting into the piston chambers.

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: blue smoke
Blue smoke indicates the presence of oil in the combustion chamber, usually due to worn valve stem seals or piston rings. When the engine smokes when hot, it's generally a problem with the injection pump or injectors. If the engine accelerates and then stalls, check the air intakes and make sure the intake manifold isn't too dirty.

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: blue smoke
I ask: do you really think that valve stem seals can affect a turbo engine?

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: blue smoke
These engines have EGR valves from the turbo to the intake, and oil can pass from the turbo to the intake without going through the hoses... of course, I think the engine (rings, etc.) might be damaged... say a prayer and get your wallet ready
