2004 Grand Prix, 3.8L engine. Posted by manual-mecanica
Good afternoon, I have a problem with my car because I broke the computer, even though it was still starting. I bought a used computer and took it to an auto parts store, and they said it was compatible. I left the key in the ignition so it would program itself, but it didn't. Then an electrician came and couldn't do it either. In other cars, I've swapped the ignition switch, the key, and the computer from the same car, and it didn't need to be programmed. I just want to be sure about this car so I don't waste money unnecessarily. Thanks. (2004 Pontiac Grand Prix)

The key tines to schedule it or if, if you do not leave or do it but it stops a few blocks, if you change the computer you must be sure it is compatible and nothing more, obtained by the code they bring
