The problem I have is that after removing the body lid, the thermostat stays inside the body and I can't get it out. In addition, although I am sure that the car is heated because the thermostat is wrong, I would like to take it out to check if it is fine without breaking it. Anyway thank you very much

Very rare that this nailed and you cannot take it out, because otherwise I remember to get the thermostat you have to remove two fhilip type screws that would be the lid, and from that lid comes an elbow where a hose is connected

It depends on the engine that has the new focus engine and Mazda 3 that are also from Ford are bringing thermostats that cannot be removed, the housing is plastic and is bought complete and for the benefit of the manufacturer it is more expensive.
