I have an 825i rover, they have put the tweezers to start it by putting the polarity badly and now the car does not start, even putting them well.

Check the fuse box to see if you have any blown fuses; it often happens.

If the polarity was reversed, it's possible that an ECU output or a diode could burn out.
Something similar happened to me with a VW a few years ago.
It was easily fixed by replacing the diode
