I have a 4 ptas corsa. Year 96 synchronous. The problem you have is that when I turn on it sounds to me something at the start that turns but does not finish starting. I have to push it.

But does the combustion engine turn? If it doesn't, it's the Bendix, a component that functions as a clutch inside the starter motor.

Hi friend, as the other person said, it's most likely that the starter bendix is slipping. You'll have to remove it to replace it. Let us know how it goes. Regards.

Everything's fine here; this is my first time registering on a forum. I think it's very helpful. Regarding my problem, I'll try starting it directly from the front, then I'll rule out whether it's the ignition switch, the switch itself, or a cable because I'm already worried. Thanks for the replies; I'll post an update when I fix it
