Citroen C15 Published by manual-mecanica
I have a problem with a Citroen C15 petrol engine. All 8 valves were replaced, the cylinder head was completely resurfaced (seats, guides, etc.), the connecting rod bearings, thrust bearings, and piston rings were replaced, as well as the TPS, distributor cap, ignition module, rotor, spark plug wires and spark plugs, oxygen sensor, and injector seals. The problem is that it accelerates and decelerates intermittently, the idle is erratic, and sometimes one cylinder misfires. Occasionally, it starts smoothly, all cylinders fire, but this only lasts a few minutes before it misfires. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: code P0171
It sounds like a problem with the TPS sensor or throttle position sensor, or it could be a problem with the vehicle's fuel injection. In that case, you should clean the injectors or, better yet, replace them. By the way, what year is it? Boxy Silverados from the 90s commonly had carburetors, making it very easy to adjust the fuel mixture. The problem might be that you need to adjust the carburetor.

I hope this helps:)

LOOK FOR THE POWER SENSOR. IT'S LOCATED IN THE INTAKE PORT. IT HAS FOUR WIRES AND IS HELD IN PLACE WITH A SCREW. THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: code p0730
I'm having problems with a 2001 Impala 4T65E transmission. I scanned it and got the following codes: P0730, P1187, and P1189. Can you advise me on these faults? Thank you.

P0730, P1187, P1189 Transmission...

P0730 Incorrect Gear Ratio

, P1187 O2 Sensor Heater Control Circuit (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

, P1189 Fuel Control (Bank 2 Sensor 1).

I think that's what each code means. According to the manual, you have those three problems: fuel control, heater sensor, and an incorrect gear ratio. I hope this helps.:)
