My question is whether anyone knows if it's possible to reduce some play in the steering. I've replaced the ball joints and noticed that the tie rods have a little play.
Thanks in advance and happy holidays to all.

If you're referring to play in the steering wheel, it can be fixed by simply tightening the steering box bolt. It's an adjusting bolt with a central thread and a nut. Now, if you're referring to play in the steering when you lift a wheel and it moves, replace the tie rod ends if you've already replaced the steering knuckles.

I'm referring to the steering box; I checked the tie rod ends and they have no play. It was when I removed the ball joints that I found a little play in the tie rods by pulling on them.
But I didn't see a lathe, at least not from underneath, but I'll look for one again. Thanks, I wanted to know if one existed.
