Power Steering Fluid Loss Published by manual-mecanica
I noticed my Peugeot 406 was leaking power steering fluid. Upon inspection from underneath the car, I found the right steering rack boot torn. After securing it with a metal clamp, it's still leaking fluid from the boot and also seeping from the reservoir cap, leaving residue on top of the reservoir.
Will simply replacing the boot be enough, or do I also need to replace the seal?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Maran, that leak is internal, you'll have to disassemble and repair it, regards. :)
