The alarm does not cut the signal to the coil, it cuts the positive feed normally.
You can check if the coil is current, connecting a small bulb of about 5W in parallel to the coil, and then giving the start, the bulb must flash as the engine turns.
If the bulb does not blink, it will touch you to check the continuity of the dough cable to the switchboard, for this, you will have to disconnect the battery and with a cans check each of the terminals of the switchboard plug until it gives the coil cable. But it is not a frequent breakdown.
Another thing that may have happened to you and that it is much more likely that the ignition coil itself is burned. For this you have nothing more to check the electrical resistance of the primary and secondary windings, if the coil is short or the circuit is interrupted, it will not give you spark on top.
