Speaking of Hydraulic Takis ...... Published by Manual-Mecanica
Well, since Kikemec took me out of doubt, which I appreciate it and since we touched the theme of the hydraulic takis (in Mexico Hydraulic divers) in my Nissan Quest 96 the Takis sound especially in the mornings and stop sounding a few minutes after having caught the engine. My mechanic (and always the confian) says that I have no engine problems, that the engine is fine and that this noise is an annoying noise for the ear, it says that what happens is that they are downloaded when the engine is off and that when I start it as they are downloaded because they sound until they are going to load, I understand this and I agree but my questions are if this in the long term can affect the engine. Consequently, it is better to change them and if it is difficult to change them, that is, if then you have to calibrate aterns or something like that, or if to change them you have to consider other aspects, or I placed it to the mechanic and I do not get into trouble. As always, thank you very much for your time.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Speaking of Hydraulic Takis ......
Hello friend Juan I hope this data serves you, take the pressure to the oil pump of your engine, because it happened to me that in several models and marks the problem of noise of the taques is mainly due to the low pressure of the pump, it also verifies the correct viscosity of your motor oil since the engines with hydraulic taques usually use thin synthetic oils, I hope it serves you this fact.

Thank you very much David Figueroam, but then this generates another doubt, if the pressure of the pump was low because the noise does it in the first minutes after turning on the engine and then it is removed, now it must also be considered that in those first minutes the engine is more revolutionized which is an extra force so that the pump has more pressure, and another thing would You sowed the doubt (and I thank you for that) so it is not others to take it to check the pressure and confirm or discard that possibility.

Hello, check if the oil filter you are using is suitable for your engine since they also have retention valves to divert the oil pressure and thus prevent the taquets from sounding.

Ok. Thank you short circuit, I check the filter that I put is the one they sell at the Nissan brand agency, but I will inform myself if this is correct for this truck.
