Chevy 2000 takes a bad smell for the escape published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, how about my Chevy Model, 2000 takes out an ugly smell for the escape, I realize that sometimes drips, it has no air conditioning, I just changed the silencer but I have never changed the catalyst or the oxygen sensor, I do not know what the cause is, I think it could be one of these two, but I am not sure, equally I think it spends a lot of fuel ... : Angry:

Hi Yope22, how bad smell? That is to say, it takes smoke yes or not and what color, now if your catalyst is evil because your vehicle loses power also that makes noise when the engine is caught, now with restart to your oxygen sensor if it was bad because your check engines on the board even though your vehicle will not necessarily fail although it can fail and spend more fuel, and with respect to the dripping because you do not inform you, you do not inform you. Nadamas after turning it on in the morning and only a few minutes or throughout the day and after having traveled long journeys. The drip of water in the mornings (and white smoke) and only for a few minutes is normal since it is water condensation inside the escape. If you can clarify more specifically what is your fault and give us more data, for example with the informan's fuel gastade when it was the last time you did the tuning (I recommend that it be every 5,000 km.), So before changing the oxygen sensor you have to make the complete tuning and recommend washing of injectors, to see how your chevvi responds, we are aware of your problem. And we take your hand with pleasure.

Well, it is in the morning that I notice the drip, and the bad smell is like drainage, well I went today with a moflero and changed the catalyst and I recommend a bullet, since it says that the catalyst I had, I was oxidizing my silencer for the water I took out, I did not wash the injector, by the way it's true? And how is it used?

Ola Yope22, you say that the drip comes out in the morning, but how much does that drip last? That is, it is in the morning and removes a few minutes after turning it on, if so it is normal since that water is condensation inside your exhaust tube, almost all vehicles take out that drip if they live where they live is a cold and humid climate, so do not worry. I live in Toluca Mexico and in the morning when I turn on my question, it takes a lot Mofle is normal. Now the catalyst does not take water, what it does is raise the gases from the engine to the upper temperature and thus eliminate most of pollutants. I think your moflero is scamming you, but I congratulate you for trying to inform you, with respect to the buoys there are some that put them precion with compressor but there are others that use gravity to penetrate the liquid, I have tried the two with good results, luck and please inform how it went ..

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Chevy 2000
Hi Pepe Good morning.
I also inform you that I was with my adventurous decision, but first confirm that affirmatively, I live in a cold place, Chilpancingo Gro. And the drip I noticed when I had the car stopped, and even if it was hot, I realized that when I accelerated it, I felt clumsy, as if it did not enter enough air, I believed it was because of the filter of the current that I put, or for not having washed the injectors, the white smoke takes it out when I stepped on it thorough I do not try it thoroughly, but well I inform you of what I have noticed until today, I no longer feel that it is locked when I accelerate, I feel more fluid, the water today that I prayed no longer took it out and it seems that the white smoke is not, the escape does not make noise greater than the one that made it, it feels good, but that is two days after the installation, I think it will have its consequences, but I still do not know what they are.
On the other hand, I would like to wash my injector but I do not know how to use the pressure buoy or as requested in the refactionaries, if you could guide me with the function of this cited buoy I would appreciate it, since with what I disagree or the deception is with the washing machines that they sell in the supers, which go together with the gasoline, but they do not give me confidence.
By the way of chance you don't know where I can get a manual to install alarms with opening of doors and trunk? I want to put one to my Chevy.
