Noise and lack of 1.9d partner power published by manual-mecanica
Hello!
I made my Peugeot Partner, 1.9Diesel, 2009, 57000km change the straps.
And after that it makes more noise to "Gasolero¨. And I must make it more to stop standing.
I lean x that the injection pump is behind, but the mechanic swears that that is not touched at all in the change of straps.
What leads me to ask: is it common to get a new strap back?
After having it a whole day to change the straps today I had to take it again to check it.
But it gives me the impression that I knew exactly what happened but he will not tell me, and he will try to charge x something that is not or that it was his fault.
With those of the official Service I do not want to go more x that treated me very badly and never took care of the vehicle.
So if someone has experience in the subject or had the same problem, I appreciate your opinion!

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: noise and lack of partner 1.9d power
hello.
I hope your problem is solved. What I can tell you that the distribution strap is responsible for transmitting the crankshaft movement to the camshaft and the injection pump synchronized, and it is certain that it loses the synchronization if you release the belt if you do not have the precaution of verifying the adjustment marks or using the special tools provided by the manufacturer to perform said work. In your case, if I am not wrong, locking tools must be used either from the crankshaft of the camshaft and the injection pump before disassembling the belt with this you avoid engine deconslation. If you did not have the tools as probable that this bad draft.
luck...

Victor.
Thank you!
As long as I left it in the mechanic, I saw that they put a screw on some side and a small l e -shaped lever on the other hand, so that nothing moved. But I don't know where the injection pump is and if it had to regulate when changing the tension of the belt, x that the new belt will be tense than the previous one not?

Hello.
I think the problem is that pump's draft.
For example, I believe that in the case of the partner or the Berlingo, it has safety anchors for belt change in the three places (crankshaft, cams and pump), so, if you did not have any useful, it would simply serve with a drill or an appropriate diameter screw.
If they do not hold well, the pump should not move in relation to the engine, but what possibly happened is that the pump crown was moving. With this if that could really happen what you have. The pump would have to peel again.
What you comment on a screw and an l is that: in the pump there is a "hoop" marked at a point to penetrate it in relation to the grades of advancement of the pistons. The screw seals that hole, and the L is what is responsible for marking the ex -Autoned position of the draft hole, I think.
Salu2!

Forum people!
Thank you!
Again with my ship in the garage! it was the same again!

Everything Miderjon was fine and it served me a lot when it came to withdraw from the mechanic who could not make the attempt to charge me, something else.

It turns out that they had not put the branch that fixed the crankshaft and this had been a few advanced millimeters. And the piston arrived before.

Namely, in the case of the partner it has a tronillo in the gear of the cams, a cylindrical in the gear of the injection pump and a rod that fixes the crankshaft that is placed, plugged x in front of the engine, between the engine and the radiator, in a hole that is not seen, just under the power coil.
The mechanic attracts this to that I provide that tool and that they did not return it.
In other words, I knew that he lacked one of the necessary tools to do the job and he began it and what is worse I finish it with the possible consequences of the case.
Hopefully nothing is broken inside.
For now the engine sounds and feels like new.

Thank you. Thanks Victor, thanks Nuky!
