Broker noises. Posted by manual-mecanica
I have changed the distribution strap and the service belt tensioner to 406. From the first moment it makes a noise, similar to a strong whistle, which begins at 1500 and disappears at 2000 revolutions, has decreased a lot as I have been making kilometers, as the mechanic assured me. But, now a new noise has come out in the area of the Service Correa (alternator, etc.), like a grilleo that occurs fundamentally when starting, then disappears. What can this grilleo be due? Has any pulley or tensioner of this belt (services) or the distribution strap been annoyed?
I have made about 2000 kms. From the aforementioned substitutions.

Hello, how do you look at the crankshaft pulley, they usually spoil a lot ... You can do a test
marks with a chalk or paint a line of the center of
the pulley out, you start the engine then stop it and see if the line you marked was moved if it is so
changes the pulley. all the bestB) B)

Hi Warni, thanks for your help. I have to say that I forgot to comment that I had put the new crankshaft belt, will it be wrong? Or will it be annoyed again?
To make the combrobation, where do I put the brands?
Thanks anticipated.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Beling noises.
Look if the belt was wrong, the problem would be another one, they are bad noises with a valve, or fledon bent valve Until finding the noise, it also produces it when the belt is wrong, that is, it is loose or very tense because it is bad enebrada.
