Corolla 91 transmission. Posted by manual-mecanica
Greetings and thanks again to anyone who can help me in advance. My question is this: why does the transmission take a few seconds to engage when I put my 1991 Corolla in gear after it's been sitting for a few hours without being used? The problem is more frequent in the mornings, and my vehicle is automatic.

The first thing to do is check the transmission oil level and the condition of the oil.
