Hello, we have a problem with the X-Type Jaguar, 2.0 Diesel 130CV engine, year 2005. The engine stops when it circulates, either on the road as in city. When stopping, the direction hardens and obviously the brake gets harder ... what makes a car when we stand. Nothing more stop the car again to start without problems. The bad thing is when you catch you on mountain road (going down) and you see them and you want to control it. The mechanics do not find the problem.

Can anyone take a hand?: HUH:

Thank you so much.

Christian.

No fault codes in the switchboard?
If something appears in the diagnosis, even if they are things "without ton or sole" can give you some clue.

It seems to me that the disconnection by inertial switch is reflected by means of a fault code in the switchboard (although after rearming it, it does not enter in a degraded zone or the light on, the control switchboard that has jumped the button) is left.

Another thing that can drive you crazy is that you fail a dough or a pin in the switchboard plug, sometimes some water enters and oxide is generated in the terminals, causing "momentanea madness" and therefore engine stop.

Both in one case and another, the diagnosis puts things, although sometimes what it puts has nothing to do with what really happens (for example, by a bad dough four or five fault codes appear that can be erased without problems, but then come out again).

All the best.

I do not know if it is the case but you want to have any indication or you can think of an idea, it happened to me with an automatic legacy row and stops not always but minimal once a day, after reviewing everything that occurred to me, the solution was to change the module of teaching that warms up and disconnects, with a Ford with the same symptom Change the sheet and now. And in a Toyota I put the direct coil and remove the problem, luck.

After much waiting the car is already walking without problems. The failure was the electronic module that was giving failures, it has changed and ready.
The mass cable was changed and nothing, it was still standing, but finally it is already fixed, thanks again for everything.

Now the small inconvenience is that between 80, 90km/h trembles the car, I do not know if it will be that the tires are played or need a balanced, I suppose it will be that, but well, if you think it can be something else please comment, please.

Thank you.
