Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: It overheated and won't start
Hi, how are you?
I see you've been doing well with the car disassembly. I imagine you've disassembled it as I gave you some instructions, removing the oil pan, the timing cover, and all the corresponding accessories. The best way to learn is by taking things apart, but don't assume everything you're doing is correct. If you have any doubts, write to me so you don't have problems later. One more thing, I hope you don't loosen the camshaft gears because one of them has a piece that's timed with the camshaft position sensor.
Good luck...

I didn't touch the camshafts or the valves and I did as you told me, Victor, but I didn't remove the engine from the car because I don't have the means to do so.

That's how it is for now, we'll see how it goes. Regards

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: It overheated and won't start
The Corsa is running; I finished assembling it this morning and started it up. Now I have to remove the radiator again because it leaks water when the thermostat opens.
I've replaced the head gasket, resurfaced the cylinder head, and installed a new thermostat.
Cheers
