With a bad lambda probe (oxygen sensor), fuel consumption increases noticeably; the exhaust noise could be due to a spark plug that isn't burning properly because of excess fuel caused by the same problem.

: UNSURE: Hi, I have a 1998 Daewoo Nubira CDX 2.0 and I have the same problem with the "CHECK" light coming on, and the brake light is also on. I need to use a scanner, BUT where I live (IBIZA, SPAIN) there isn't the same type of socket as my car! What can I do now to check this? Thanks :(
