It is possible that the "air/gasoline" ratio suddenly varies due to some air inlet into the engine.

It would be good for you to indicate which engine carries your car to be able to go directly to the possible causes, because right now with the data I have is to give blind sticks.

In principle that seems that, an air intake by the servofrane or by some lazy or broken admission tube. Although it can also be a problem of Lambda probe if it carries it (I do not know) in which case the fault light would turn on.
