Oil filter posted by manual-mecanica
Hello,
I have a Ford Fiesta 1.4 16V of 98 and when changing the oil change I saw that the oil filter is longer than I have now, but the thread pass is the same. I think nothing happens if it is longer if the thread pass is the same, can anyone assure me?
thank you so much.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Oil filter
You have to realize if the thread and rubber packaging coincide with the filter base; Apart if the length of the new filter does not run into something because it can be chopped if those three things are well that is no problem.

The length does not supply if it does not run into anything if the thread is the same and the rubber cell is well accented, there is no problem to roll.
