PEUGEOT 205 DOES NOT TIRA PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MECANICA
I have a 205 of 1995 with about 90,000km and who has been changing the distribution kit

lately the car does not pull, the engine does, but it seems as if the transmission skate with what the car has a hard time starting to move, just like after the gear changes, which seems to have a hard time transmitting the force of the engine to the wheels.

Can anyone guide me possible causes?

Thanks in advance

Hello, if your vehicle is of manual transmission, the most successful thing is that the clutch disk is possibly damaged; or if you have a cable clutch control that is not properly regulated, it could also produce a similar failure.
If the transmission is automatic, the safest thing is that the fliudo of the transmission is low

Thank you for answering

the truth, although I do not understand anything of mechanics, it was one of the possibilities that it was considering, because the car limits it above all my wife and has the mania to go with the clutch to half step on (I suppose it gives it a feeling of security)

the issue is that the oven is not for buns, and I understand that it can be a quite expensive breakdown. I say it to endure it a little more or to take the children to the school by bike

in short, that we are going to do

greetings

Hello friend, as the fellow Alge says, most likely, the clutch has reached the end of his useful life, but if you say your wife drives by pressing the pedal, there is no choice but to change it and rectify the steering wheel, greetings. : Cheer:

Na more to say it is clutch you can give it until I do not throw anymore but loop because the thrust bearing of this car is disarmed and there if you are going to get expensive, with everything you are going to really you have really you have not so expensive, any mechanic can do it, do not take it to the official house.
