PEUGEOT 406 Published by manual-mecanica
Hello. I have a Peugeot 406 and the air conditioning isn't working. The problem is that the compressor doesn't even start, although all the fuses are fine. I honestly have no idea where to look for the problem. According to the repair manual, it should be working, but it just won't budge. So I'm asking for your help. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Hello friend ctadrian. The air conditioning system has a safety pressure valve, usually located in the gas lines. If there's no gas, the compressor won't work. What you need to do is bypass the valve terminals to test both the valve and the compressor. Good luck.

Perfect answer, it won't work without gas, and check if the request reaches the compressor.
