Hey guys. 1st - The float method involves a reservoir that you connect to the fuel rail. You add the cleaner to it, and once the reservoir is closed, you pressurize it with air using a compressor (usually).
2nd - Have you scanned the vehicle? Does it shut off suddenly? Or does it start malfunctioning and then shut off? A good reason is the one kikimec mentioned. Another is that any component can fail and cause the car to shut off... from a sensor, an actuator, or even the key, the alarm, etc. That's why it's important to observe the details of the problem. When does it happen? When it's hot? Cold? At a certain speed? At idle? When going over a speed bump? I hope you understand. Cheers!
