The first thing you should look would be the fuse of the heating and AA fan is located under a plastic lid under the steering wheel and the left, next to the door.

If the fuse is wrong, the fan does not work and if it does not work, the air conditioner compressor would freeze the cooler and could be damaged.

Another thing to look at is the fan's command, it is not going to be that some track has been broken and do not let the current pass to the fan.

The best way to see how the central console is disassembled to get the command is in the manual of course but you can also spend the scrapping and disassemble it from another car like yours. You take the command to have it replacement just in case and also learn how to get it out without breaking anything.

The heating fan is less likely that it has been broken because before breaking they usually make noises when turning warning, which can have been broken are the resistances that it carries to make it turn more slowly or faster.

The fan and resistances are located under the front glass, between the brushes of the clean, under a plastic lid that covers the clean engine, the switchboard, the antipolen filter etc. Anyway I am not very sure because I have a vertra B of 98 and it is not exactly the same.

I hope you help you something I have put here.
