Problem with my 2000 Festive Ford Published by Manual-Mecanica
Good, my name is Jose Rodriguez, I am from Maracaibo Venezuela and I have an automatic Ford year 2000 full injection and it presents a fault that it is, that when I turn on the air the car goes out on a trip to the 10 minutes of travel approx and it costs him to turn on later, I have to wait as 15 min that he cools and turns on, but without the air it works well but it does not matter to me, I already have to turn on it Spark plugs and gasoline filter and nothing keeps me the same fault, put the scanner and throw me that the distributor is damaged but I do not want to buy it until it is sure that it is that and also that it is super carooooooooooo, so I ask them the question in this forum to see if they can help me since it loads my fault crazy, but the car has come out excellent ............

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Problem with my Festive 2000 Ford
From Cali, Colombia:
This fault is closely related to the distributor's coil or module; Because when the A/C turns the voltage varies; Like the load; On these sides the same thing already happened; Not only in Ford; Also in Daewoo Matiz; Mazda ... and others ....
Greetings;)

Look actually Yozuva is right when lighting the air, all vehicles have an extra load or extra consumption and this logicamnte produces a steel in the current, but it would not be to stop the vehicle unless the consumption is so large that when you act the air do not reach the current, now you run out a question if you do not catch the air the car is without any problem? I do not stop or anything? If your answer is whether the real load of the alternator and the consumption that exists as well as the wiring state, but I believe that your problem goes and let us know.

Without the air on it works perfect for me, it only costs it a bit and already tried the alternator load and sends its normal voltage

Good afternoon friend, if your problem is the distributor, I happened to change the cam Solved, the IAC valve is not because the fault would be another one, the RPM would be lowered and you would go out because it does not keep the car minimal but it would turn on immediately, check your distributor.
