Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Tines any problem with a vehicle?
I have a 2002 civic, d17, 4 speed aut, lx....
Last month the transmission went into neutral; only reverse worked...
The transmission was overhauled, the torque converter was replaced, almost all the sensors were replaced, and the check engine light is still on and I'm getting error code P07040 (incorrect gear ratio)...

The last thing the mechanic told me is that it could be a voltage problem in the current reaching the solenoid that controls the transmission (the one at the rear of the transmission) which is responsible for the gears...

Is that right? Or in your experience, what might it be?

I changed the rollers on the axles and nothing changed. I think the solenoid is detecting the problem, and the D shift point is losing pressure...

It shifts completely, except sometimes it doesn't shift into 4th. I have to stop and start in first gear for it to shift completely...

My mail is I'd like to hear your thoughts...

Cheers,

Thanks, but I don't know which one is the knock sensor either (where it's located). In fact, I have the manuals I downloaded here for the Atos, but they're not for the 2007 (1.1 liters) and it's not marked there either... but I did give the intake manifold a few light taps, and I was told it should rev up with the taps, but I didn't notice any change in the engine's RPMs anywhere I tapped.

Hi, first of all, greetings. The Theft Spy is the anti-theft system; what's happening is that it's locked by the immobilizer. What you need to do is scan it to find out what fault codes are present, since the unit has chip keys that would need to be recoded, but first we need to know what's going on. We'll be in touch.

I'm not an expert on automatic transmissions, but let me ask someone who specializes in this so they can tell you what's going on. Cheers!

Hello. I need to replace the fan switch that activates the radiator fan because it's stuck and is always running. I have to disconnect the cable every time I turn off the engine, or it drains the battery completely (it's already happened once). I've been told it's the fan switch and I want to replace it. Any quick explanation or a link where I can understand how to do it myself? Also, I'd like to know its location, as I'm not sure if it's where I think it is (on the side of the radiator).

It's a 1995 Renault 19 Driver, 1.4 80hp, petrol.

Thanks a million.

Regards.
