Hello fellow mechanics... your contributions to this forum are truly excellent. Anyway, I have another question: I have an Iveco here with a 6-cylinder Fiat diesel engine and a 5-ton capacity, and the device that activates the cold-start diaphragm on the fuel pump is no longer working. The vehicle starts without it, but starting it in the mornings is quite difficult. We've sometimes activated the diaphragm manually, and it works, but the problem arises when we're alone and want to start it. As you know, this mechanism returns due to a spring. I would appreciate any ideas on how to activate this mechanism from the cab in another way, thus avoiding the need for assistance when starting the truck. Thank you in advance for your help.
