Access to the "Private" Caterpillar group published by Manual-Mecanica
This message is directed with much respect for the administrator (a) of the heavy machinery group, it is specifically for the "private" group for Caterpillar literature.
As long as we share the literature that we have in our digital "libraries", I understand that we should not complain about not being able to lower caterpillar literature since it is free, asks, as we can do (because we have several registered members that we have consulted the same problem and it may not have directed ourselves to the correct forum. Private group and who needs to lower Caterpillar manuals must be registered user.

Manual-workshop response on the topic access to the "private" Caterpillar group
Caterpillar has expressly asked us that we do not allow the download of the manuals owned by your company.

For that reason, the Caterpillar section will be closed until all the material whose copyright corresponds to Caterpillar.

Only manuals that refer to Caterpillar products will be maintained but whose copyright does not belong to Caterpillar.

In mechanics manuals we believe in the free movement of knowledge on the Internet and in our opinion it seems to us that companies earn much more if users know the company's products at the technical level because one is more likely to be decant when buying a vehicle or machinery for products that it knows (a technical manual can cost $ 20, a more than $ 20,000 vehicle).

However, if a company does not have that vision we also believe it is convenient to respect its opinion and thus avoid conflicts, anyway on the Caterpillar website there is access to a large amount of technical information that can be downloaded for free although ... let's say that it does not have a very intuitive interface or facilitates excessively the use of information.
