Problem with a 2000 Ford Transit. Posted by manual-mecanica

Hi, could someone tell me where I can find the workshop manual for a 2000 Transit? I need to remove the rear wheel bearings and I don't know how to remove the drum cover.
If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful.

Between the screw threads, you'll see two smaller ones, and I think they're M8x125. You have to screw in two of these screws, which will push against the hub and act as a puller. You have to screw them in evenly so the drum doesn't get crossed.

Thanks, but it's not that type. It has a cover that protects the nut holding the drum and the bearing, but I don't know how to remove it. It's not like the ones on cars; it's recessed inwards, and I don't know if it's threaded or how it's put together

Try tapping the cover gently to see if it moves; it might be one of those that you break off to remove and then replace. The other step is to remove the brake drum.
