Corolla start failure

Please someone will know what this fault can be:
I have a Toyota Corolla Year 1997 1.8 Synchronous injection which has been presenting the failure that does not turn on, the automatic changes to the start and still persists the fault, when passing the swcht it does not give but it feels as if it wants to light the only way is to let it run and turn it pushed.
