Hi, I'm having problems with the cooling fan on my 2005 Peugeot Partner. It's not working. What should I do in these cases? Please, I'd really appreciate any help. If anyone knows anything, please write to me. Thanks,
Yrene

Manual-mechanical response on the topic of electric fan
Hi yrerey, check the fuse, then the cylinder head temperature sensor (in case it's faulty and not sending the signal to the fan), then check the fan relay. You should tell us what engine or model you have; petrol, 1.9 diesel, 1.6 HDI... and I don't advise driving it until you fix the problem... Cheers!!

Manual-mechanical response on the topic of electric fan
Hi, you need to check if the electric cooling fan is receiving power, either with a test light or a multimeter. Disconnect the connector from the solenoid valve located on the cylinder head. If the connector has two wires, bridge them; this should send power to the fan. If it only has one wire, simply disconnecting it should send power. If there's power in both cases, the problem is with the electric fan.
If there's no power, check the relay, which should be located in the fuse box. Remove it, and if there's an identical one, swap it. Check again for power. If there's still no power, check the fuse. If it's good, check the wiring from the solenoid valve, through the relay, to the fan connector. There might be a broken wire. Good luck!
