Hi palomoynaty, if it's leaking air in the catalytic converter/manifold line, the sensor will continue to show a fault. A faulty sensor plug or wiring will also cause a fault. Also, check for any false air leaks in the intake (manifold gaskets). If checking these things doesn't fix the problem, and disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes doesn't help, some people resort to "taking the easy way out," as they say... tampering with the instrument cluster and disconnecting the check engine light... but this is not at all honest, nor is it what a mechanic should do. However, if you don't have any more money to spend, or any other resources, this is your choice. The best thing to do is check these points, and the fault should disappear on its own once the problem is fixed. Keep in mind that if the fault is with the ECU, it could end up costing more than the car itself. Cheers!
