The word error appears ,,,

I have a problem with a 2007 Chevy Malibu with a 2.2 engine. It parked normally, and when they tried to start it, it wouldn't start. It does absolutely nothing... like you're trying to start it in reverse. The dashboard lights come on, and the odometer illuminates, but after about three seconds, the odometer disappears and the word "ERROR" appears. It won't crank. If I try to start it directly with the starter motor, it cranks but doesn't start, and there's no spark at the spark plugs, even with the key in the ignition. The fuse box has already been checked. Thanks for any help.

Hi Dayton Rodriguez, you should take it in for a diagnostic check. It could be anything from the crankshaft position sensor to a problem with the electronic immobilizer, so it's difficult to determine the cause at first glance. Good luck!
