Scanner elm327

I have problems connecting to the ECU of a Suzuki Jimny 2001 with the ELM327, the cell is connected to the scanner but not with the ECU, if someone can help me I thank you before hand

Hi Pala, with the ELM 327, you'll have a hard time scanning a 2001 Suzuki system. The ELM works well on approximately 2005 and newer models, obviously depending on the software you use. Even though Suzuki uses a standard 16-pin OBD2 diagnostic connector, the communication protocol is older; depending on the model, it took them quite a while to standardize to CAN. In any case, there are people online with a lot of experience with this scanner, and you have nothing to lose by looking for compatible software. Best of luck.
