Hello, I'm from Antofagasta. I have a Hyundai Matrix 1.5 CRDi with 210,000 km. I've changed the spark plugs, injectors, valves, piston rings, and fuel pressure sensor. The car was fine until one day it stalled and wouldn't start again. I took it to a mechanic who managed to start it, but now it's jerking and emitting a lot of smoke, and the accelerator isn't working. Does anyone know anything about the problem?

Manual-mechanics response on the topic of problems with a 2004 Hyundai Matrix 1.5 CRDI
Regarding the smoke issue, I'm not sure if it's oil or a scratch on a cylinder from a piston ring... check the compression. If the smoke smells like diesel, it's a problem with the pump, and you need to check the timing, the pump timing, then the advance solenoid valve on the pump itself, and then the accelerator pedal sensor, but the first thing to check is the crankshaft sensor.
