Hello friends, I need help with a 2001 Corolla C3121 with a 3CE engine, electronic throttle, and fuel pump.

The problem is that it lacks acceleration; it seems like it has low fuel pressure.

I checked and got error code P1405, turbo pressure sensor circuit.

In the history, I also got P1222 (0,1,12,22) - refer to related manual.

I cleared all the error codes, and P1405 reappeared.

I replaced the part with one from a different model, a 1999 CE110

, and it's still the same.

Can you help me, or find the vehicle's wiring diagram?

Thanks.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic of a problem with a Corolla CE121 3C engine electronic pump
Remove the turbo hose and clean it; oil and other debris will come out. Clean the external rod by wiggling it several times to loosen it. Follow the turbo hose; you'll see a sensor. If it has oil on it, clean it. Disconnect the power (positive and negative),
clear the error code, and then accelerate; it should work now.

The problem is that the turbo's variable geometry turbocharger is blocking due to oil or dirt, and with excessive pressure, the vehicle goes into limp mode to prevent damage.

The turbo has a thin vacuum hose; the more you accelerate, the more it opens. Check that this hose is in good condition.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic of a problem with a Corolla CE121 3C engine electronic pump
Thanks for the reply, except my vehicle doesn't have a turbo. This sensor is located next to the air cleaner, where the air filter is. What this sensor does is measure the suction pressure, or pressure, I think, through a small hose that runs from the air cleaner to the sensor.
according to the test with my multimeter.
I tried it on
1000 rpm
2000 rpm
3000 rpm
with the vehicle unloaded (not moving)
and gave these values that we see in the images.

I'm translating a manual for the 3C-E engine that's in Russian. If anyone has it in English or Spanish, I'd be very grateful.

greetings.

I didn't check the code because you already explained what it meant. It's not about that; that code is telling you to clean the EGR valve, which is clogged with soot, and that's why the car isn't idling properly.

If it's not the EGR valve, check the NTC thermistor for air temperature.

Let us know what you find.:)

good afternoon everyone!!!
I'll tell you that I solved the problem that time with pump maintenance and replacing a part, which I'll confirm later.

Something funny happened to me.
I had a problem this week, a small fire with the electrical components of my computer. I had to replace my cables and computer. And after that, the problem reappeared.
Code P1222 (1,12,22), but now the vehicle seems to be out of time with the fuel pump. I tested the fuel pump advance sensor and the crankshaft sensor, and nothing changed.
After searching a lot online for what it means, I see the forum I created myself. hehehe
Okay, I'll check the pump tomorrow to see if there's an improvement and I'll let you know later.
greetings.
