IAC sensor. Published by manual-mecanica
Hello everyone, I'm new to this site. I found it by chance and I already found a manual for a Chevrolet Monza, but I didn't find what I was looking for...
My question is this:
I need to know if my 1995 Chevrolet Monza has an IAC sensor, and if so, where it's located. Remember that this vehicle has a single-point fuel injector. My other question is whether I can install iridium spark plugs, since I was told they reduce fuel consumption. If possible, I need photos. I would appreciate your help.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic of the iac sensor
What you're looking for is an idle air control valve, not a sensor.

The IAC valve opens and closes depending on the information the ECU (engine control unit) receives from the temperature and air volume sensors.

Search "IAC valve" on Google and look at the photos; you'll see the many different shapes and sizes they come in.

I think it does have one, but if you mess with it, you might ruin the cold start or cause it to fail the emissions test.
