Oh, and now who can help me? Posted by manual-mecanica
: Sick: Thanks for your attention. Here's the problem: I have a 1990 Diahatsu Feroza 1.6 that I need to repair. It was towed. The owner was about to burn it because other mechanics couldn't get the engine to start. After a lot of trial and error, they finally got it running, but when I checked the emissions, they were through the roof. What haven't I done to them? They just won't go down. I'm thinking it might be the vacuum hoses, but I'm not sure if they're connected correctly. Does anyone have the wiring diagram? It would save me. Or does anyone know any tricks? I'm from Costa Rica, and here you can count these cars on your fingers and still have fingers to spare. Thanks, friends, for any help you can give me.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic oooooooooo, and now who can help me,,,,,
My friend, hello. I wish I could help you, but I don't know much about Daihatsu cars. The exhaust gases are coming from the lambda sensor, which controls the fuel mixture. Check if it's connected and working correctly. If it's a single-point carburetor, it also has a catalytic converter. Your car is a bit old and might not have one. I'm not sure how to help you, but I hope I can be of some assistance. The hoses are for engine oil vapors. Make sure they're all in place and that it's not consuming more oil than it should. I don't have the diagram, but if I get it or find out who has it, I'll send it to you.
