Hello:
First of all, I greet all the users who make up this excellent forum, thanking them, suggestions and comments.
My name is José, I really like cars and engines, and well:
I tell you that I have as a project, adjusting a 1981 Ford Mustang engine, which is a 302 of 5.0L, with automatic transition, which seems quite good to lift and rescue, to leave it in excellent conditions.
The engine is currently working, but not 100%. It vibrates a lot, staggers, sometimes it goes out, it takes a long time to start in cold (several attempts are needed to start and take the rhythm, minimum 3).
The revolutions go down almost to the point of extinguishing, when the transmission enters into any of its changes, except in Paking and neutral obviously. Throw oil through the carter, on the banks of the aim (I imagine they are the packaging and also burns a little, it does not take blue smoke but if the smell comes out, sometimes I have seen that it takes out in black smoke ocations.
The
engine would need to paint so that it does not oxidize and this presentable.
I have the possibility to pay for the adjustment, but whenever I open the chest, I see the engine and motivate me. I could provide the entire necessary tool to adjust it and even paint it, but the big problem is that I don't know much of automotive mechanics and I would like to know if you can support me with your knowledge as well as recommend manuals, books or other material to learn what is necessary .
