Fiat Elba Diesel Manual published by Manual-Mecanica

I have a fiat elba diesel 1.7, smoke a lot at cold starting and works with difficulty and makes a lot of noise, after 2 minutes of being on stop doing it, in hot starts it moisters only a little and stop doing it. Does anyone know what problem can it be? It does not consume oil, stretch well.
