What the first apprentice comment poses 23 is true the problem must be sought in the thermostat and also in the water pump:
I am a mechanical technician and I had a very similar case with a 2004 Chevy
it happens that the PCM when detects 98 degrees trigger the low velveter speed (needle at 3/4 Dereloj, 2-3 stripe obstructed, or defective pump then dripping the early one up to 103 feet, 3/4 clock (seen with a scanner) then the PCM shoots and maintains the high velocity of the fan also that makes an unusual noise
. HIGH Clock 3/4 And when checking he had a minimum leakage through the water pump which towards the car would overheat the engine at more than 105 degrees
replace the pump and the car was well and did not return
