Good,

my father has a Mercedes of 67 who has gripped the engine. Specifically, it is a 1967 Mercedes-Benz Tails W110 200D Automatic Diesel.

We have found an engine with the same specifications but with the manual change.

Since only the engine has been gripped and the gearbox remains intact, would it be possible to put the automatic gearbox to the new engine?

I know that you can usually, but in a little percentage of cars it is not possible such change, so I ask to see if someone knows it. For getting the new engine or giving ours for lost since it is not impossible to find one with automatic box unless you am amounts of veryyyyyyyy away, and the economy is not so much,: P

can anyone, if it is not discomfort, confirm whether it is possible or not?

Greetings and thanks to all in advance
