Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Ford Transit PLEASE CLUTCH
Hello, the truth is that I get a little green with hydraulic clutches. Those who have run normally mechanical (with cable). You say that you have to pump a lot for the clutch to act, being hydraulic I would tell you that perhaps the hydraulic circuit is not well bleeding, (you have air in the circuit and that is why it does not work, it happens the same with the brakes). I would check if you have enough fluid in the circuit, or if there is any leakage in it. Another thing, is the clutch hard when you step on it? I hope I have helped you. All the best.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Ford Transit PLEASE CLUTCH
For me it looks like the circuit, or is not well bleeding, or loses you somewhere. I would start looking for your transit's workshop manual, (look on this website, there are a lot of manuals, and surely you find it) and I would study the entire clutch well, surely there comes the location of the gum, or some explanation of how to bleed the circuit. If after that the problem persists, then I don't know. Let's see if someone who is more familiar with your van Read your ad and tell you. Luck.
