Heating problems in my Ford Falcon published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello I have a Falcon 78 engine 221 walks to gasoline and gas but I have a problem that when it is standing waiting for a semaphor or some toll also when the transit is heavy or very slow, it passes that it raises temperature then when it is normally walking except that it is very hot the temperature is stabilized the radiator is clean there was a time that raised a lot of temperature that I made the nonsense of removing the thermostat that then probes with hot water. Thermostat lifted the equal but not so fast as with the thermostat later changed the radiator lid provided several with everything the same with some when it seems that it raises a lot Time but summer is coming and the high temperatures and I will have many problems if I do not do something the water pump is because I take out the radiator lid and it is seen that the water circulates ask what I can do to solve the problem from now thank you very much.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Heating problems in my Ford Falcon
That such a friend
for logic your problem is with the fan since when going circulating it does not heat up since it receives air, Czech that is in good condition the band, the Fanclutch, tests with a fan with more blades, the fan of the fan, that the fan is not very separated from the radiator etc.

I recommend that you put the plug to the radiator at least 9 pounds, if there is too much precion in the cooling system or risk that the head packaging is damaged, as well as a test with the cold engine filled the water radiator and fix that they do not leave air bubbles that indicate compression of the cylinders.

Good luck and I'm to serve you

Hello, I wanted to ask yourself regarding the heating of your engine, if the point of the distribution is controlled, since it is usually communicated that in the Falcon when there is a setback, that it makes the chain jump, if this is not in perfect condition, in that case if a tooth had been run, you would be having this problem. A hug and luck with your machine
